Do you think the future of the web is all that this video shows. I do, more and more people are getting news online, reconnecting with loved ones online and shopping online. Another big change are search engines Google and Yahoo all have to change to fit the “new web”. They are competing with new search sites like Bing, leapfish and even Twitter. The world is changing and the web is changing for the better. Shopping online is easier and you can find so much. With more and more companies offering free shipping there is no reason that you cant do your shopping online.

My family does not get normal gifts, we like to find gifts that are unique and fun and really show you who the person receiving it is. A gift like this car costume is something we would get for a few people in our family and last year there was a person in our small town who had this exact set up and most people loved it. It was very funny when we saw it because my nephew was with us and he just pointed and went “Look, Look!”

Now a car costume may not be for you but sometimes a simple useful gift like this sign may be something that will catch your eye. This is perfect for my mom or my sisters boyfriend. I may just get one for each of them. It’s funny, fun and may even be useful. In my area it could almost be considered a theft deterrent as someone would take it very seriously.

Shopping around for a gift is a great idea, but I will say sometimes going with your gut feeling is the best way to shop. If you find something that is perfect for someone buy it. Cakes and cake making are very hot right now and what little girl wouldn’t love to be able to make her own cakes! Well now she can with the Girl Gourmet Cake Bakery. Now I am adding this gift to my gift guide because well, we were thinking of getting it for my 21 year old sister as a joke gift. She wants to go to school to learn how to make cakes and we thought this would be a very amusing, but still somewhat useful gift.

This gift is for girls 8 and up but I think if there is parental involvement you could probably get it for a 6 or 7 year old and they would still love it. Really who doesn’t love cake?

My lips are always chapped and that is why I think lip moisturizer is a great stocking stuffer and gift for the holidays. It’s winter, it’s cold and the air is dry so everyone could use this.

I received a lip moisturizer from tropical traditions to review and so far I am loving it! The day I got it I had just gotten over being sick and as always my lips were very, very dry and cracked. I put this on and within about 5 minutes or so my lips were moisturized. I also found out that this lip moisturizer stands up to a washing as yesterday I put it though both the wash and dryer and it was still a solid stick. I was thrilled and I’m still using it today.

I tried the cinnamon peppermint flavor, but they have others if your not into those spices. They have orange cinnamon, tea tree oil and unscented if you prefer to not have a scent. Because they come in so many different scents you could actually get a few of them and have them as a nice sized gift for someone at the office or a child. I would like to see them expand on the scents available but that’s just me I like a large selection!

Having fast internet is a must these days. You need it to load media rich websites and blogs and you need it to do fast research for school or work. Now you can surf even faster by using charter ultra fast 60 phatband internet service.

I would love to see it where I’m at, but charter doesn’t come out to the middle of nowhere so I lose. If I did have it I would probably be able to do so much more. Both my brother and I watch movies and videos online along with TV shows. It’s just much easier and fits better into our time line. What I hate is when we have to wait for buffering or the picture is not that great. It would be nice to have fast internet where we wouldn’t have to worry about waiting anymore.

Of course I could also get a lot more work done online if my internet was faster. I could blog faster and do more research for school papers. For me slow internet is the only reason it takes me a few days to do a paper, it takes a while to do all of the research needed and if I have to look it up again it can sometimes take forever too. Just think about what you could do online, shopping would be so much faster with 60mbps speed wouldn’t it?

One of the great things about the internet is that you can learn and shop from the comfort of your own home. You don’t have to run to the store to get food or other necessities and you can find great deals on gifts that you may never find from a local retailer. Also many online stores have become very trusted retailers and sell millions of items a year.

Home shopping is becoming more and more common every holiday season. You can find things like jewelry, wine glasses and clothing. The internet is full of places where you can find great deals on all of these things and more.

My favorite thing to buy online are beauty products. I only have a Walmart close to me so it’s hard to find some of the really good beauty products that are available, yes I could drive the hour to the local mall, but that takes gas and money that just don’t have. Another reason I love buying beauty products online is that the deals you can get are unbeatable and I have never found better deals at a store.
