Trade Your Way To New Stuff
Do you have a ton of things to get rid of like rugs or a old birdcage but are finding out that no one has the money to buy them. Well if your looking for money for an item then maybe you should try trading for that item instead. Sites like Care to Trade offer a great way to trade items. It’s easy to use and free.
You can also find more local sites where you can get things people just want to get rid of for free. Yes free as in you don’t even have to give anything away. Sometimes all it takes is some good hunting skills or you can check out freecycle.org and see what is in your area.
Flat Bottom Taco Shells
Have you been seeing those commercials for the flat bottom taco shells but have yet to try them. Well I will encourage you to do so as they really are helpful when making your taco. I was babysitting 2 toddlers today and having the flat bottom taco shells made life so much easier as I could set the taco down and not worry about stuff falling out if I had to stop them from doing something. I only had to do it 4 times during lunch.
The only downside to them is that you have to have a big bite to eat them, so you may have to get use to them and use to how you eat them.

Find Cool Things At Buy.com
I love Buy.com I love the great Sale items and find myself looking at this site even when I don’t have money to buy anything. I keep thinking maybe one day. Thats me though, you may find something your looking for at a great price and if your interested in a wireless router it’s the deal of the week at $39.99.
Another great thing about buy.com is that you are buying online and that means you are being environmentally friendly. A recent study has shown that buying online and having things shipped to your home is better for the environment because you don’t use your extra gas to get to the store. So if your looking to go green, buy online.
Go Out To Eat Without Breaking The Bank
Do you love to eat out but am finding that you just don’t have the money to do so anymore. Well if you take just 30 minutes out of your day and sign up for your favorite restaurants newsletters you can get a ton of free stuff, like appetizers or even meals. Two of the restaurants that send out coupons for things are TGI Fridays, and Arby’s. Now those are some yummy places to eat.
Check out all your favorite restaurants to see what they offer, if they don’t offer coupons try writing to them and asking them to. A simple “I would love to try your restaurant but I find I cant afford to” can work wonders!
Save Money On Travel
Right now is the time to travel prices are down and people are willing to deal. Yes it can be hard to come up with money right now, but if you plan right you can really get some great deals and free stuff. I look for places that offer free samples for my travel gear and I find companies that give away products like luggage and pillows for planes. Many companies will have these deals if you place an order with them and buy something so make sure you look for things you either really need at home or need for your travels.
Also check with airlines for last minute flights if you have to travel quickly, many airlines will give you good rates just to put someone in a seat the same goes for hotels. It cost them money to have empty rooms so anything they can get is helpful.
Just remember to call around and find the best deal that fits your needs. Do some research and you should be traveling in no time!
Save Yourself Time and Money
Right now a great way to save money or make money is to buy a watch, now I’m not talking about getting a fine watch like a Audemars Piguet but getting a watch will help you to be at places on time.
So many people rely on cell phones to tell them the time but many people lose there phones in the recesses of there car or purse and it takes a while to dig it out. That means that either you don’t do it or you take 5 to 10 minutes to find it. If you had your watch you would have made it to the show early enough to get cheep tickets or maybe had made it to that important interview on time.
With the stress of today world you want to keep yourself as streamlined as possible. Having access to that extra time piece is a great way to do it.
Canon Printers Equal A Huge Rip Off
Have you ever needed something printed and you go to print it and your printer is out of colored ink? I just did and I figured I would print it in black and white and it would be okay right? Wrong! The canon printer we have will not print in just black you have to have color ink in it. Even if you choose to print in gray scale it still will not work without colored ink.
It’s really a scam to get you to buy ink you don’t need as I think even when printing in black our printer uses colored ink. Gotta love it when a company does stuff like this just to make a sale, well I planned on buying a new printer fax thing this year and I have to say as of right now I will not be buying a Cannon. I spent hours doing research that now I have to spend more hours doing at school so I can print from there computer.

Keep Your Home Safe
If your looking to up the value of your home and save money on home owners insurance you want to try looking into wireless security systems. They are easy to install and they keep people out of your home.
You can also add a great solar powered light system that will make it seem as if people are home, even when your not. Add a timed LED light inside your home and you will be set to save and be safe.
Change The Look Of Your Room For Less
I have an interior design blog and I thought I would send a few tips this way as most people reading this are looking to save some extra cash.
One way you can save money on updating the look of your home is to buy area rugs and use them to update your home. Adding a modern rug to a more traditional style will help to create intrest and make a huge change to your room, when doing this though make sure the colors work okay with your traditional furniture.
Another way to save money and update your look is to add plants to your room, it’s not that hard to take care of a plant and if you pick the right kind of plants you can even save money on food. You can buy strawberry plants that work well inside along with tomato plants and more. The best part is you only have to water them every 3 days or you can get a self watering pot or accessory that will water the plant for you.
Just these 2 things can really update the look and feel of your home for under $200 if you buy that rug on sale.
Save Some Cash By Shopping Online
Shopping online not only saves you time and gas money, but some of the best deals are online and you can get access to stores that you may not have close to home without getting out of your pj’s. You can find things like wholesale handbags and tea online for such great prices that even adding shipping sometimes will beat the local store price.
Now, I’m not saying do all of your shopping online, because you do need to support your local economy, but if you can get something unique and different that you can’t find a home, check out a website before you make the drive. Remember gas profits go overseas, not here and buying gas does not help the economy, but buying something online might.

Save Money On Your Vacation
If your looking for a long break check out an extended stay hotel, yes it’s kind of like living at home, but you hopefully will be somewhere much more relaxing and fun, besides, unless your on your honeymoon you won’t be spending much time in that hotel room anyway.
