100 Days Of Christmas Gifts: A Space Heater

Using a space heater can actually help you save money on your heating bill. If you have a large home, but only use small parts of it you can probably save a good amount of money running a space heater. We use them as our main source of heat as we are still trying to afford a new furnace.  The heater I use is the Lasko Designer Series Oscillation Ceramic Heater. Mine does not have a remote, but apparently you can get them with one. (I now want a new one!)

I love this heater because it not only looks good, it works. I usually keep mine at about 65-70 and only on cold days do I crank it up. Usually I do end up turning it back down as it gets too hot in my small room. I have also used it to heat our entire upstairs and it’s done a great job. To give you an idea of the space it’s 3 large bedrooms and a bathroom, so it’s really a very powerful heater. It would be a great gift for anyone who needs to heat a small or large space and people who like to camp or have a cottage or cabin somewhere.
