Tumaro’s Tortillas Review

I was given this product by Tomaro’s Gourmet Tortillas to review, all thoughts and opinions are my own unless otherwise stated.

I’m diabetic so I am always looking for good low carbohydrate food that will actually fill me up. When I was asked to review Tumaro’s Low IN Carbs Tortillas I really was excited to see if they tasted as good as they sounded. I received the Multi Grain as that’s something I’m trying to eat more of, but there are 4 varieties in all including Salsa, Garden Vegetable and Green Onion. All of them sound very yummy!

I was very surprised to find that the tortillas had only 17 carbohydrates, then I noticed the gold mark, at least for me, 12 grams of fiber! I was excited to say the least and I was ready to dig in right there. The first meal I had I made 2 fajitas, wow that was a little much I think. I was so full after the first one that I had to stick the second in the fridge for later. A good thing for me at least! Taste wise I really enjoyed the tortilla. It was soft and had a wonderful flavor to it. I love the taste of whole grain so please keep that in mind during this review. If you don’t like that taste you may want to try the salsa or green onion tortilla.

Over all I give this product a 10 out of 10. It’s healthy, fills you up and taste good. I have used it for breakfast and lunch wraps and even made chips out if them in my oven. This is defiantly a product I am going to continue using.
