It seems that as a culture we are starting to look more and more at how other cultures do things, what works and what doesn’t and our products are starting to reflect that change. A great example is the Maya Wrap a simple cloth device that keeps your baby close to you comfortably.

I myself have not used this product, but when looking over how simple it is and how easy it is to use I can see myself getting one when I have children. I want to be a loving parent and looking into ways that I can get that done is something I am very interested in. I know so many people believe that holding a baby spoils it, but really many people who have been held as baby’s turn out to be very loving people who have great self esteem. It really depends on other aspects of upbringing that form a person so really I am loving this product.

To me it looks very comfortable for both mom and baby. It also allows the baby to be carried in the front or side easily meaning you can do other task while holding your baby. This type of system has been used in other countries and it does work really well! If a mom can use something similar and still go work in a farm field, this is something that every parent needs to look into!
