I love Halloween and even though it is still a few months away I am gearing up for it already. With Party City I have found it to be much easier then I thought to get great items for Halloween or any holiday or event. Not only is it a one stop shop, but they have some great items as well and they have a huge selection of Halloween costumes.

One of the best things I got from them was this cute Monkey costume from the baby Halloween costumes section. It’s so cute and it’s really very insulated and warm for your baby, so if you live in a colder climate like I do here in Michigan then it will really come in handy. Yes, it comes with the hat and booties too, but the baby is not included, my sister would have a fit!

I also received a very pretty princess costume for another niece. It was really hard to choose one for her just because all of the Girls Halloween Costumes were great but since she loves the whole princess thing I had to get her that one. I also picked up a great tween costume for another niece I have. Yes I have three nieces and there is a nephew in there, but he didn’t get a costume this time.

Now I know your wondering if I got anything for me. I decided that since I am moving and will be able to decorate my own place this year that I would buy this really cool Black Lace Cobweb Mantel Scarf that lights up and really looks cool. Now I won’t have a mantel, but my bar area in my kitchen will work just fine for this.

Party City also has a ton of great Halloween party supplies if your going to have a Halloween party. I personally would love to have one, but I don’t think I will be able to in my new apartment, it may be a little too small.

I love food and if you saw me on the street you would probably not find that hard to believe. I’m also a big fan of the Chili’s Triple Dipper Appetizer. Just think about it, three different items on one plate! Now my perfect plate would be chicken, broccoli and shrimp as those are my favorite foods, of course those are not really appetizers so I would have to choose something else when going to chili’s for my triple dipper but I think I can come close to what I love. How does Chicken Crispers, Honey-Chipotle Shrimp and Hot Spinach & Artichoke Dip sound. They sound very yummy to me!

I think the best part about Chili’s triple dipper appetizer is that you can get something for everyone in your party. When my friends and I go out, we usually order two triple dippers as it’s not only a big group but we all like different things. A friend and I went out this weekend thanks to a $20 gift card I received from Chili’s and this is what we got: Shrimp, Cheese Stick and Spinach and artichoke dip. Doesn’t that look yummy!

We also ordered main meals and I have to say I was very happy with my Margaretta Chicken. It was very good and very filling. I actually took half home so over all I got a great deal on lunch and on a second meal too!

Now I know Fathers Day is coming up and maybe Chili’s is just the place to take your dad for Fathers day, so I’m giving away a gift card for you to use to treat dad to a good meal. Of course you can be greedy and keep it for yourself too.

My Review of Going Cowboy Crazy

This was a very fun book to read. I loved that the author took a city and smart girl and threw her into the country. I’ve lived in both the country and the city and I knew exactly how Faith felt. It’s just a whole different world when your use to buses, a lot of people and the hustle of the city.

I loved the way this book keeps you guessing as to what will happen next. You really have no clue what is in store for these two people and it makes for one wild ride add in the return of the sister and you have a whole new meaning crazy. This is a great book for anyone who loves cowboys, and who doesn’t?

My Review of Make Mine a Bad Boy

Another fun read and just as good as the first one. This book follows Hope as she tries to find herself back home but in totally different circumstances then she thought she would be. We learn more about her time in Hollywood, more about the father of her child and if your not from the country you may learn how annoying and noisy people out here can be! It’s not all roses as the town decides to find the baby’s father and get their sweetheart married.  It’s a perfect example of small town living and the strange charm it has. I really enjoyed reading this one and hope that Katie Lane is writing a third.

My Review of Ripe for Pleasure

This was a very fun book to read.  Not only did you wonder what may actually happen during the whole book you also fell for the characters yourself. I wanted them to be together and for Viola to find happiness. As you read the book you find that her past greatly influences her actions now, but she still finds a way to open up to Leonidas.

Of course there is plot twist and turn to be had here and you wondering if Leonidas will choose family over lover. This really is a great and exciting read.

I love Pirates Of The Caribbean, it’s probably one of my favorite series of films ever. Of course since Johnny Depp has been a favorite actor of mine since I was a teenager and I love to see how much fun he has doing these movies it makes sense. My family and I have planned for a few months to go and see it opening day. We are not sure if we are doing the midnight showing or just going the 20th, but we will be there and a few of us may just dress up!
