I love home improvement, but getting the tools you need can sometimes be expencive, stores like the Ace Hardware Superstore are handy but sometimes even they can be a little expensive. I have found checking around online for the tools you need is a great way to get your home improvement done quickly, eaisly and for a good price.

I shop online for everything I use in my home or things I may need to get the job done, like Wolverine Work Boots or hammers and nails. Yes I know most of the time you can find these things at your local store, but why spend that much if you don’t have to. I’ve moved a lot in my life and sometimes it’s just crazy and a mess and you think why did I even think about doing this, am I crazy? I have found that when you move doing a few things before hand are helpful. A big one is researching moving supplies. You not only want a good deal, but you want to make sure you get the products you order on time. Nothing is worse then ordering boxes only to get them three days after you were suppose to move.

You want to check around with friends, family and even online to see how people like the companies they have worked with. I know many people use a service that will pack your stuff for you and move it, but me, I prefer to at least pack things myself as then I know what is what and I can decide what people see and do not see. I’m a private person, though I don’t have anything to hide the though of some guy packing my underwear weirds me out.

I love summer, we all seem to have more energy and are able to do so much. As an interior designer I love using the time I have in the summer to create new styles, not just for my home but for others as well. We will use my friend again as an example, he had to buy 3 flea bombs, medicine for his cat and then take all of his clothing, bedding and anything else that could be washed to a laundry mat. Thats expensive. That also does not include the time he had to spend outside of his apartment just wasting time waiting for the bomb to be done. If his apartment manager had provided proper pest control he wouldn’t have that problem now would he?

Sometimes living on campus is not what you want to do, maybe you have a job that requires you to be local all year around or maybe your not a freshman and are just ready to move into your own place. Whatever your reason searching for an apartment can be tough. First you look though all of those Apartment Rentals listings and wonder if there is anything that doesn’t look like a pig just died in it. Then you actually have to go look at the apartments and you realize that a pig dying in it would be better then what you just looked at. Then you run screaming “Why me!”

It seems that more and more people are trying to cut cost by doing there own hair, it’s not hard and actually if you can find a trusted friend to help it’s very easy. Now you don’t have to be Chaz Dean to give a good hair cut, but you do need to know a few basic tips.

Know your face shape: We all have different shapes to our faces so a cut that looks great on a friend may not look so great on you. Find people with the same face shape then look at their haircut and find one you like.

Know your hair type. Some styles require thick hair to look right, if you have thin hair the style won’t work for you.

Wash your hair first, it’s easier to manage and clean hair looks so much better then dirty hair, making your cut look a lot better.

I  was a collage student just a few months ago and one of the downsides to being a student is you have no money, you need food, clothing and of course an apartment to live in, well that is if you don’t live on campus and as most of us know only Freshmen live on campus.

I’ve realized that a lot of people I know spend a ton of money going to bars and clubs to meet the right person.
