I am a music person and in order for me to really enjoy my music I need to hear it with decent quality and not though crappy earphones. Headphones do not come in one quality and spending just a bit more on good ones can really increase your music experience.

I recently got to check out these really fun and amazing flowers from FTD. They now have a line of College gifts and flowers and I received a bouquet of flowers to check out for myself and share my thoughts with you.

Unfortunately I didn’t get to spend much time with my bouquet of flowers as I have been in training for a new job, but I do have so say they were everything you would think they would be. They came very well packaged as they were hard to get out. Not too hard, but hard enough that you know there is a very small chance that they could be damaged in shipping.

The colors on the flowers are so bright and every inch is saturated with color! I have a floral degree and trust me what they do is not easy and it’s just really great quality. I personally have never had an issue with FTD flowers and this bouquet was no exception. Everything was high quality.

Now I choose the University of Michigan because I was born in Ann Arbor and it is a favorite team of mine. My school is not a big school so it was not on the list, though the schools colors are the same as Michigan State, and I thought about getting those, but then I would be stuck with a State vase! Yes, I could have given it to a friend, but I’m not. My point with this is that they have a huge selection of colleges to choose from, but they don’t have them all.

This is a great gift for anyone who is graduating, has a child away from home or maybe attended the school at one time. This is also a great gift for a fan of any of these colleges and you can even add on some other great items to go with your flowers!

I am really loving this game. Not only did I get an amazing core workout, but the music is so much fun and it has songs you know and love.

What I love most about Zumba® Fitness Core is that you can create your own class. That means you pick the songs you love and feel are a fit for you. I also love I can do more then one, so I can set up a quick 10 minute workout or if I have time a half hour to hour workout! A also love the different types of dancing, belly dancing is included, something I love to do and there is also Celtic music and hip hop among others.

Some of the dances are not that easy, but others are very easy to pick up. I recommend if your using this for a workout that you plan at least a week to just learn the steps, something you can do in the came or in a separate section. I personally just hit the ground running with the game for the review, but I did eventually check out the learning section and it’s really helpful as some of these moves are very hard to learn while playing the game.

There is one more downside and disclosure: I may just not be seeing where I can change this, but I loved that I could track my progress daily and put into my own records how long I worked out. With Zumba® Fitness Core You can see how long you worked out, but only in a graph form that doesn’t give you exact times. Again, I may just be missing that, but it was something I really found helpful.

I decided this month to buy something I have really wanted for a long time. Of course I also needed it for school and work so it was not really a splurge, but a long overdue buy. I bought myself the new Kindle Fire HD 7", Dolby Audio, Dual-Band Wi-Fi.

My sister has the first kindle and though it’s a great product for reading it doesn’t do much else. The Kindle Fire on the other hand does a lot more. Not only can I read the books I review right here on this blog with it, but I can download a sketch app so that I can do sketches for class and I’m thinking some great sketches for my home décor blog too!

I have the Kindle Fire HD 7”. It has wifi and Dolby surround sound and has an awesome camera so I can skype on the go. I also like that it’s small and easily carried. They are of course coming out with larger Kindle Fire HD 8.9" but they are not out till November and really I didn’t need anything that big. The nice thing about the larger Kindle Fire is that you can get it with 4g.

What do I love most about my Kindle Fire HD? Well, the HD of course. The picture is amazing and I love watching videos on it as well. It’s a great tool for long car rides as you can read or watch movies. It’s also nice because you can use it in the sun and not worry about being able to see. It’s great for teens and older kids too. Though for me it’s something I would watch around younger kids as it’s a little pricy to be giving to a 2 year old, though my niece does like to try to play with it!

Sometimes you just need a little wine in your day and if your looking for a good wine to try out you want to check out Be Wines. Not only are they a cheaper wine to buy, but they are a quality wine as well.

I picked up the wine at my local Kroger and they have a few different types you can try I picked up the Flirtty Pink Moscato.

I loved the flavor and lightness of this wine. It is really perfect for summer and spring and is really a very good wine for the price. I love the bottle. It’s not a normal wine bottle, but it’s close. The design has a great look to it and I plan on using it to do some decorating in my home. 

This wine is great for a girls night in, works wonderful with lighter meals like salmon and chicken and is also great with lighter desserts.

Over all I give this wine a rating of 10/10

My Review

I love this costume! It’s fun a little different and you can almost wear it out to a club if you want! It’s made really well and I love the detail in the costume. I do actually like that the costume does not come with the fan, the stockings and the shoes because one not everyone wears the same size shoe and two as most women know stockings are also something not every size wears the same.

I also love the head piece though for me it was a little difficult to get on. If you have thinner hair you may want to add some extra pins to keep it in and up. Another downside to this costume, I got a plus size costume and when I received the costume I couldn’t zip it up. I’ve lost weight and now I can wear it and that is why I can say I love it, but it does run small so make sure you got a size or two up. The only reason I didn’t send it back is because I am trying to lose weight and I didn’t need to lose a lot to fit into it.

I’m all about fashion and since I am still a plus size gal I have trouble finding clothing I like and clothing that is fashionable. The good news is that there are websites that offer some great fashionable clothing for curvy women and the clothing is pretty affordable too. One of these sites is Fashion to Figure.

I received these really cute Cropped Denim Capris to review and I have to say I’m pretty dang happy with them, my only issue is that they are very tight on my calf, but I have larger calfs and a simple snip with some scissors and a small bit of sewing took care of the problem!

What I love most about these denim capris is that they are comfortable, there not stiff, but soft and you just feel very relaxed in them. The fit was great besides the calf area. They were not too tight in the waste and really fit well along my thighs. Washing did not shrink them, so if they are big on you, you may want to exchange them for a smaller size.

How’s that for simple and practical?

My Review

This device is amazing! I love that I can see what is wrong with my care easily and I don’t have to worry about paying for services I don’t need. I know a bit about cars but I don’t know a lot so this device really makes me feel better about having my car worked on.

What I love most about the Car MD

• Easy to use
• You can use it on more then one car
• Reports are in English, not some “mechanic language”

So, I know your wondering how well does this really work, well the Car MD told me I really just need a new car! I have a lot wrong with it and many things I did not know about. I found I really need to have my car looked at as it won’t pass an emissions test, I need a new thermostat (I knew that) and there are some other recalls that I need to take care of. I love knowing all of this. 

My car is an older car and I do plan on getting a new one soon. So I may not be fixing much, but what I do like is that if I sell my car I can print off the report from Car MD and let someone know exactly what is wrong with the car. That way I feel good about selling them the car and they know exactly what is wrong with it.

Now the Car MD only works on vehicles that are 1996 or newer, so please be aware that if your car is older you can not use this product on it.

Cinnamon is a huge part of my diet plan. As a diabetic if I can get cinnamon into my system I do and with this granola it’s a great way to start my day off right and get my intake of cinnamon. The flavor of this granola is exactly like an apple cobbler and it takes me right to fall and harvest time.

Recently I received a bottle of coconut oil from Tropical Traditions to review. I love coconut oil because I know I can use it to cook and most people will not have a problem with it. It also has a great taste, though it’s not a very strong taste.

Another thing I love about cooking with coconut oil is that it has a wonderful aroma, if you like the smell of coconut. I love cooking with it in the winter as it makes me feel like I’m on a tropical island!

I made some chicken with the coconut oil and was very happy with the results. I was surprised at how well it browned the chicken. It gave it a nice crisp coating but left the inside nice and tender. It also added a bit of a coconut flavor, though it was very light so if your looking for more of a coconut flavor in your recipe you will want to add something else with the flavor.

Some of my favorite uses for  Coconut oil for removing makeup or you can use it as a moisturizer.  I have used it on my skin for a couple of weeks and I love it. It moisturizes and really feels amazing. I have very dry skin and it works so well for me.
