It seems that most people who have curly hair want straight hair and people who have straight hair want theirs to be curly. I have curly hair and love it, I know I’m weird right? There are some times that I would like to have my hair straight like when I know I’m going to be somewhere windy. Curly hair tangles really bad. I also love how straightening my hair makes such a huge difference in my look.

Recently I was asked to review the KQC Professional Flat Iron. I thought that it would be fun to try out and I liked it a lot, but since I already reviewed one iron myself I got a friend of mine to try it out too. She was really happy with the results and I have included a before and after picture so you can see how well it worked on her hair.

What I love most about this Flat Iron is that you can choose the temperature you want. I know so many people who fry their hair because they can’t set the temperature. Fine hair doesn’t take as much heat to straighten where thicker hair may need a ton of heat to even come close to wavy.

Overall I have to say I love this straightener not only did it straighten both mine and my friends hair well, but it made is very soft and touchable. I would recommend this iron to anyone looking for a quality iron at a good price that will do everything you want it to, yes it also curls!

I love fruit and having a fruit basket is a great way to get a good selection of fruit and have fun to. The gift basket I received contained apples, pears, oranges, cheese and summer sausage. The basket was very pretty and come quickly. The fruit was just right and I and my brother enjoyed trying each one. Though my brother ate most of it before I could! The sausage was really yummy and though the cheese was pepper jack and I know some that don’t like. I did love the taste and it was just spicy enough.

Gift baskets are of course a great way to tell someone you care about them, happy birthday or anniversary and it’s healthier then most other options. I would recommend this basket for someone who likes fruit and someone who is watching what they eat. It’s also perfect for anyone you know as most people love fruit.

So about a month later here I am and I have to say I am impressed, the pants wore well even with all the stretching, running and jumping I did in them and though I really did not lose much, I do know I will be getting more of these workout clothes. What I loved the most about them is that they felt light, not heavy like most plus size workout clothing. I really feel like I can move and am not burdened with my clothes. I also love the statement you can make with their clothing. I received a simple black yoga pant, but they have a really cool looking blue design that I must have. Christmas gift anyone? I digress, I would really recommend these pants to anyone just starting out with losing weight, you really feel lighter when you put them and and really there were many days where that feeling was what got me going.

I received my candle pretty quickly considering they had just finished the process of moving their store. When I opened the package I could already smell the sweet aroma of lilac, yes it was that strong. At first I wondered it it was too strong, but once I lit the candle I was pleasantly surprised that it was just right and gave a nice scent to the room without being overdone.

I’ve had my candle for just about a month now and I really enjoy using it, I don’t have to leave it lit long to have a great scent throughout my home and the scent stays for a while after the candle is put out. I have to say I’m very happy with this candle and am looking into a few more to send out as gifts for the holidays.

I wear glasses and until recently I didn’t worry much about what they looked like. I figured that no one would really notice if my glasses were stylish or not. I love doing new things to my hair and when I received an opportunity to review the Mini Ceramic Travel Flat Iron I got really excited. I do a lot of traveling with my home business and having something that can go with me is a plus for any beauty item. My only worry was how much time will this thing actually take to warm up and how travel friendly is it really.

Well I got the flat iron a few weeks ago and I have taken it with me on a few jobs. I have to say I am very impressed with this iron. It warmed up very quickly and did the job it was suppose to. My hair was straight with just a few strokes of the iron and since it also cooled quickly I was able to fix my hair and go to my next show. As you can see from my picture (yes I know I look horrible without makeup and a little mad in this picture, I’m not really!) my hair is kind of wavy, and it’s actually pretty coarse. I was able to straighten that little bit in about 30 seconds. When I did my whole head it took about 40 minutes, but once it was done I could do small touch ups if I needed to as I went though my day. Most of the time I didn’t need to, I would recommend this product to anyone who does do a lot of traveling. It’s handy to have and a lifesaver in a rainstorm.

I love coffee and having a good cup of coffee at home is something I love to do. I can’t function in the morning without my coffee and sometimes it can be scary when I can’t have it. I tend to use anything that is in the cupboard as I am not the only coffee drinker in my house, but recently I have been able to enjoy the new Starbucks Pike Place Roast and I have to say it’s pretty dang good. It has the smooth taste that it claims to have and has a very good flavor. I normally add splenda and creamer to my coffee, but I of course tried this one without to give a good honest review and I was surprised. I can actually drink this coffee without cream or splenda, it’s that smooth.

The one thing I really like about this coffee is that you can get a free cup of coffee at Starbucks if you bring in the package. I think that’s a great way to get people into the store, but at the same time make them feel like they don’t have to. I don’t live close to a Starbucks. (I know your shocked!) and since it’s a drive I really like that I can just relax at home with their store brand that really is just as good as the stuff in their store.
