Ecstasy Unveiled Book Review and Giveaway

Do you like to read dark novels, maybe ones with a demon or two or three, how about throwing in an angel just for fun. Well, if this sounds intriguing to you keep reading as I will tell you a great tail of a demon who fell in love with an angel. Well I won’t tell you, you will have to read Ecstasy Unveiled to find out what happens, but I will tell you part of the story.

Lore is a demon half-breed who has been forced to be an assassin, Idess is an earthbound angel sworn to protect Lore’s target. They meet in a fight while lore is trying to kill his target, but instead of killing Lore Idess takes him to safety. Eventually she ends up kidnapping Lore and that is when Idess has to decide if loving a demon is worth the price she will have to pay.

The story has twist turns and of course is full of dark demons, sex and thrills. It’s not a book for someone who is shy about sex and it’s not a book for people who cant take a lot of action. I personally loved this book, I love stores about things we think exists but may not, and this story has all of it, yes there are more then just demons and angels there are vampires and werewolf’s too, and no it’s not some lame story about them either. In fact I loved this book so much that I will be picking up the other 3 books in the series soon. If your wondering those books are:

  • Pleasure Unbound
  • Desire Unchanted
  • Passion Unleashed

Giveaway

If you would like to win a copy of this book all you have to do is tell me, do you believe in angels and demons?

The Joys and Weight of Haveing a Baby

I recently found out that a good friend of mine is having her first baby. She’s very happy and is looking forward to buying all the cool baby stuff, like a crib and bassinet. She is also looking forward to going shopping for her baby shower. She really is very excited about it and will make an awesome mom.

Something she is not looking forward to is the weight gain associated with having a baby, she was tiny in high school then gained a bunch of weight in collage, after that she lost all of it and was so happy. Now she’s worried about not losing her weight once she has the baby. I told her most people lose much of their baby weight within a few weeks of having the baby, but she’s still looking into things like xenical to help with her weight loss. I eventually directed her to a weight gain estimator so that she could try to figure out how much she may gain. It’s really a very cool tool and one I would recommend to any soon to be mom.

I also looked up tips to help her keep in shape and not be so crazy once the baby is born. The best part about these tips is that they are all free! Just make sure to check with your doctor before you do any of these.

Before the baby is born

Walking about 20 minutes a day.
Doing sit ups as long as it’s comfortable

After the baby is born

Running
Take walks with your baby, even if it’s only in the house
Do not diet, this could actually cause you to gain weight.

Do you have any tips?

Buy a Home Get an $8,000 Tax Credit

How would you like to get an $8,000 Tax Credit? I know I would love to and if I had the money I would be very interested in buying a home to get the $8,000 credit. Now, I’m not saying run out and buy a home if you don’t need one or can’t afford one, but if you have been thinking about getting one, then you may want to consider looking now and not later.

If your not sure what the Tax credit is check out this video from Coldwell Banker.

The video explains very well how the tax credit works and I believe that now is a great time to take advantage of all of this. I myself would love to buy a home right now, but because of how my luck and my life seems to be I won’t be able to afford a home until the prices are too high again. That is why I would love to see anyone who can afford a home get one now. I know it may be a hard choice, but sometimes owning a home is a lot less expensive then what your currently doing, paying someone else’s mortgage. Wouldn’t you rather be paying your own instead and reaping the benefits of home ownership?

Last Minute Valentine Day Gifts

Sometimes you just have too much going on and can not seem to get to getting those Valentine Day gifts for your loved ones. I have a few free or cheap items for you to check out.

1. A coupon book for hugs, back rubs or whatever else you can think of. Make it fun and it will be a big hit.
2. Flowers and his/her favorite food or candy.
3. A gift certificate to a gas station, store or restaurant.
4. A list of things you love about them along with flowers, candy, food or a gift card
5. A gift to a movie, food or other type of club.

One thing that you need to remember is that it’s really the thought that counts for most people. If you don’t have the money for a big gift or even any gift, giving the gift of time with the person is always better then doing nothing.

Happy Valentines Day!

A One Stop Baby Registry

Having a baby is hard enough as it is. If your the women you feel tired all of the time. Your cranky and your getting fat and you hate it. If your the man your tired all the time your cranky and you don’t understand this “fat” thing. Now on top of all of this you need to figure out what you would like for your baby so that other people can get you stuff, you know the bright side to all of this, well at least until the baby arrives. Usually making a baby registry is difficult, you have to go to each store, or at least each stores website and put things in. It’s time consuming and can be tiring.

The good news is now there is a better way with The Best Gift Registry a website that allows you to make your baby registry in one spot! They have stores like Walmart, Baby Earth, and my favorite Kohl’s! The site is also very easy to use. All you have to do is create an account and start shopping. The best part is you can send the website to your guest and they can get right on it and buy from there through your own registry url. There is also a section where your guest can see coupon codes offered by the stores you have listed so that they can save on their purchases or maybe just be able to buy you more.

It’s a cool site and one I will look forward to using when I have children of my own.

Country Bob’s Sauce Review

I received this product Free from the makers of Country Bob’s sauce. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love trying new food and when I got a chance to try Country Bob’s all purpose sauce I jumped at the chance. I decided to take the bottle of sauce over to my friends as we were making steaks for dinner. We used the sauce to cook our steaks and then added more for dipping. I really was impressed with the flavor of this sauce. It wasn’t too strong, but it was strong enough to hold up well as a marinade or as a dipping sauce. I was really hoping to try it out on my grill soon, but the weather has just been to cold to even think about standing outside that long.

My friends also liked the sauce and were wondering where they could get it. I noticed that it’s sold at our local Walmart and that it’s really not badly priced at all. I love how you can use it for anything too. I’m thinking once the weather gets warmer using some in hamburgers and maybe on some grilled chicken. Of course my need to grill with the sauce could be because I am so over winter and very, very ready for summer!

I do have to recommend this sauce to anyone looking for something a little different that can be used on a lot of different things. It really is a great and versatile product and a must have for anyone’s pantry

Countess Of Scandal Book Review and Giveaway

I received this book from Forever Romance because of my membership at Book Blogs. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love reading books based on history, it doesn’t matter if it’s a romance book, action novel or even a non-fiction book. I just love history and finding out if what the book says happened really did. Its fun to learn in a way that entertaining and I’ve found that if I read something, then do more research on it I find so much more out. Countess of Scandal was a book that got me thinking. It’s set during the Revolution in Ireland in 1798. It contains characters that actually existed and of course some that did not. The story follows Eliza Blacknall and William Denton who as children were friends who became more only to be turn apart by the military. William went to war and Eliza married the man her parents choose for her.

The story really starts a few years later when Eliza, now a widow, and William meet again and they start to remember how they felt about each other. The problem is Eliza is very involved in the revolution and William is still an English redcoat. The story tells a journey of love and survival during a time that is so uncertain. It’s a fun and thought provoking book even though it really is just meant to entertain.

If you are interested in reading this book check out my giveaway!
