The Secret Advertiser and Styleish Changes
Sometimes you just don’t expect things to be what they really are, that’s me with the Red Chair Confessions secret advertiser.
Well what did you think of that. Of course if you’ve been following Red Chair Confessions you may already have known who the advertiser is. Talbots is now revamping their image to appeal more to the younger trendier set. I honestly was surprised at who the advertiser was as I would never have thought it would be a clothing advertiser! I do remember going into Talbots with my mom a lot when I was a teen, it really was not a store for me at all, but now they seem to be right on with the young group.
I’ve been checking out the site and though I myself can’t wear the clothing yet I have found some that I think my sister would like, and of course I like too but will have to lose a little more weight to get there. One of my choices is the Refined cowl neck sweater. I like it because it’s lightweight, but looks like it would keep someone warm enough for fall. The colors available are also great colors for fall. They also have a great cashmere line with a ton of great looks, and who doesn’t love cashmere? What outfits do you like?

How I Would Spend $500 At Talbots
With christmas coming I am always thinking about what to get people. Of course I do some looking for myself to. So how would I spend $500 at Talbots, well most of it would go on gifts to other people as I don’t fit into their clothing. My little sister does though and she loves their new looks. I have chosen a two of my favorite shirts that I would probably buy her for christmas if I had the cash.
Don’t you just love those, they are simple and stylish. Something my sister is when she can’t wear her skater clothing. She’s attempting to change her look to a more grown up style so these would be a welcome christmas gift.
Now I’m not leaving myself out. Shoes are pretty much a universal and I have found I pair I have to have.
I love these and since they are only $119.00. I could buy them with my $500! At least in my mind I can. These are so cute though that I may have to save up and hope for them. So lets see with the shirts and shoes I’m up to $354, so I still have some more to spend. I found a quilted tote I like for $99 and a snowflake scarf for $44. That would bring me to $497. Yes I would have to pay a little more then $500 when you include tax, but still that’s a lot of stuff.
